Stevens Park to get makeover

As the Morning Call reported last week, the city's park system is slated to receive a major facelift. Buried in the story: Stevens Park, the park just off 7th at Park and Tilghman, is set to receive some love:

Stevens Park is expected to get a new fence, playground equipment and landscaping. The basketball court will be expanded to a full court.

Jeff,

I have just read what I perceive as a sad and unnecessary snark agfainst Molovinsky on his blog, and it comes from you. I thought you were better than that. Since when does someone have to reside within the city to care about it?

And while we are on the subject of qualifications, I am particularly disturbed that you have injected yourself into discussion about Allentown and have even gone so far as to start this puff blog about 7th Street without disclosing your own wife's involvement in A-town's Redevelopment Authority.

If Mike's nonresidence makes him less credible, then your wife's involvement and your sad failure to disclose that involvement should taint you as well. As a professor who teaches about the media and communications, you know you have an ethical obligation to make full disclosure, but have not yet done so on your blog. Why not?

You would light up the MCV for far less than this, You should make disclosure on the face of your blog or in your profile, as Joyce marin does on her puff blog. Anything less is deceptive.
